Increasing stock levels & improving delivery

With evolving technology comes a plethora of improved products. In conjunction with improved products comes an increase in demand. An increase in demand for products requires an increase in the quantities and overall speed of delivery. And when you’re a business like Wilson Power Solutions, which deal with each aspect of such transitional changes, it can be challenging.

As a forward thinking company, we have to have our finger on the pulse within our sectors and respond to change as it happens. Complying to the latest regulations and standards is another component to factor in, alongside demonstrating that what we’re doing is ahead of anyone else in the game.

Technological Advancements

Improving our products is an ongoing process. For instance, even though our super low-loss amorphous transformer already meets and exceeds Tier 2 EU Eco Design specs, (which come in to force in 2021), we’re still searching for ways to make it better. We don’t like to sit still.

Our Wilson e2 amorphous transformer has already helped over 750 businesses reduce their carbon footprint whilst saving them money, the increase in demand has, unsurprisingly, gone up. This is great news for us (and our planet), however, meeting that demand isn’t always as straightforward.

Increasing Stock Levels

Due to the size of our transformers and varying demand for individual ratings, storing them in bulk has always been an issue for contention. The more stock you have, naturally, the less space you have, as a result. Despite this, thanks to improvements at our Leeds headquarters, we now have enough space for adequate stock. By anticipating the market, we are now readily prepared to supply our customers with that they need, better than we ever have been before!
