The Chargetec C300 and C400 series of battery trip units provide a more comprehensive array of functions and alarms than those offered in the Economy range.

This includes a microprocessor based, temperature compensated, and current limited charger with a wider range of alarms, including high volts, low volts, AC mains fail, and low battery voltage cut-off via the battery isolation MCB.

The battery load test facility is now automatic. The standing load capability is increased over the economy trip unit to150watts. The metering is also increased over the economy trip unit to include a voltmeter, a charge / discharge ammeter and LED’s to indicate the alarm condition.

Charger size: 300mA to 4A. Voltage range: 24, 30, 50 & 110v DC. Battery size: 5 or 8Ah (VRLA).
