Wilson Power Solutions "highly commended"
Wilson Power Solutions were highly commended in the Business in the Community “Environment Leaders' Group Climate Change Awards sponsored by Haribo.
This award recognises organisations that have managed to turn the low carbon economy into a real business opportunity. Wilson Power Solutions entry with the Wilson e2 amorphous super low loss transformer impressed the judges and narrowly missed out against strong competition from NG Bailey.
Managing Director, Simon Wilson, said: “We are delighted to have been recognised for the development and successful market entry of the Wilson e2. This acknowledgment shows that even a comparatively small company can make a real difference.”
The cause for celebration at WPS is that the e2 is a ‘home-grown’ product born from the collaboration of a small R&D team with an equally small R&D budget at its disposal.
